The 30 kilometre long coastal road between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay is one of the most beautiful routes in Namibia. On one side looms the mighty sand dunes of the Namib and on the other, the cobalt-blue Atlantic Ocean. About halfway, lies Langstrand; a popular holiday resort with apartments and a campground. The Long Beach Resort offers entertainment for children like a waterslide and tidal pools. There are two restaurants.
